What is this animal??????!
Cute and creepy

Now my tribute to Nobuo.....

Been Listening to Music from Nobuo Uematsu, cause i've been mugging for exams and I would like to tribute this post to him. Been an avid game player, from RPGs to Kiddy games(see previous post - bomberman). I would provide Nobuo with the highest honour. He's really a genius and the best in his field (game music). One listen of his music piece, i'm really enspelled to his great compositions. Sometimes i just wish to live with these songs.

Emotions, love, sweet, sometimes anxious feeling will linger with me for a while. Sometimes i wonder how does he do it?

From 32 bit famcom, even though music's all in "midi" format, the spirt of his works live on to the PS3, XBOX360, Nintendo DS, PSP. Without him and his music, Final Fantasy may be final. He accompanies me through the days of Final Fantasy 1 to Final Fantsy 12. Once in a while, where games from Square Enix ship ashore, Chrono Trigger, the music never fails to captivate.
Though other RPGs, provide great music too, but Nobou Works would always be the one to amaze.

Tried a shot a Lost Odyssey Soundtrack, boy it sure did lived to my expectations. It had a feel of him which's feel with emotions, captivating! I particulary loved the piece of 25 -"Parting Forever" and 12- "a sad totem". You should get it. Always liked this type of songs!

For this album it's a 8.5/10
Normally for game music, you must play the game to have the emotions seep in with the music.
Probally if i play this game i would give it a 9.5/10

Would try and get my hands on Blue Dragon Soundtrack if i could.

Anyway, today had an exam on Accouting and Corperate Governace *Sigh* time is really not on my side, didn't have much time to write what i wanna potray out. Anyway 3 more to go, the next one's on Wed.

This Part-time degree course is so time demanding, sigh may God bless me! Off the Mugging then.

I found this article from HWZ Quite True
1 Guys hate sluts even though they have sex with them! (oh yeah..you're not "popular" if you've slept with more than 6 guys..you're a HOE)
2 Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.
3 Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.
4 Guys will do anything just to get you to notice him
5 Guys hate it when you talk about your ex-boyfriend or ex love-interest.
6 Boyfriends need to be reassured often that they're still loved.
7 Don't talk about your guy friends to your boyfriend.
8 Guys get jealous easily.
9 Guys are more emotional than they'dlike people to think.
10 Giving a guy a hanging message like "You know what?!..uh...nevermind.." would make him jump to a conclusion that is far from what you are thinking. And he'll assume he did something wrong and he'll obsess about it trying to figure it out.
11 Guys are good flatterers when courting but they usually stammer when they talk to a girl they really like.
12 A usual act that proves that the guy likes you is when he teases you.
13 Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your relationships.
14 Guys think WAY too much. One small thing a girl does, even if she doesn't notice it can make the guy think about it for hours, trying to figure out what it meant.
15 Guys seek for advice from girls not other guys. Because most guys think alike, so if one guy's confused, then we're all confused.
16 When a guy asks you to leave him alone, he's just actually saying, "Please come and listen to me."
17 If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him. It doesn't happen that often, so when it does, you know something's up.
18 If your best guy friend seems to avoid you or is never around when you're with your boyfriend, he's probably jealous and likes you.
19 When a guy tells you that you are beautiful, don't say you aren't. It makes them want to stop telling you because they don't want you to disagree with them.
20 When a guy looks at you for longer than a second, he's definitely thinking something.
21 Guys don't like girls who punch harder than they do.
22 A guy has more problems than you can see with your naked eyes.
23 Don't be a snob. Guys can be intimidated and give up easily.
24 Guys talk about girls more than girls talk about guys.
25 Guys hate rejection, but they hate being led on even more.
26 If you are going to reject a guy, just do it. Don't say they are like a brother or just good friends, it just hurts even more. Tell them that you aren't interested in a relationship and they will respect you.
27 Guys really think that girls are strange and have unpredictable decisions and are MAD confusing but somehow are drawn even more to them.
28 When a guy sacrifices his sleep and health just to be with you, he really likes you and wants to be with you as much as possible

*On a side note*
This Tissue box really look gay.
Drinking causes gays to break? LOL

I've been so busy these few days studying, at the same time serving national slavery :
Economics of Industry
Accounting
Financial Management
Marketing

So freaking tough studying part time, where time really is an issue. Sometimes i would really wish i had powers like Hiro(Heros) to travel through the space-time vortex and have as much time as i could grasp of. Sounds illogical but who cares!
Read an article on human evolution, i believe in the next decade due to climate changes, the primal survial instincts, there's a change of human evolution but with a push from science. Scary isn't it, this reality of us.

This aside, actually i would want to provide reviews on PSP games for my blog. Coming to a screen near up(scroll down) is Bomberman land!

Bomberman Land is a game where they provide over 50 mini games. You're on a quest to revive parts of the fallen bomberman land using "peices". These "peices" can be attained once you have dutyfully complete the mini games, roam around blabbering to bombereans, etc.
Addictive game, suitable for all kids and adults alike and for both boy and girl!. Especailly got this game for my gf.

Going to catch Evangelion the movie soon!
One of my favorite anime of all time. The first anime girl i fancied, Rei

Now look at Hello kitty Bomberman, isn't he so cute! my gf creation

Some of the mini games, simple fun and addictive, some are set at hard mode. Deterence for completion level up!

Now what game is this? My friend recomended me this. Very interesting game! Who likes this game?

This is so funnny! Ken Lee = Can't live!?!

CJ7 Soft Toy
CJ7 Toy FTW

CJ 7 Toy FtW
CJ7 its so cute! One for me and one for my Gf. Many pictures ahead!

Anyway lunch was great, at bushoudo ramen at Raffles City, damage was $30.75
Ate Ramen there, tried their Shoyu Rame and Special Miso Ramen, taste was quite authentic and way better than Ajisan Ramen. My Gf complained it to be a little salty but i liked it.
Their pork was fabulous, tender and succulent!
But today i had no time to enjoy this meal as i had to rush to MDIS campus for classes. Sigh, exams coming up soon.
Have not really prepared for it. God bless me.

Any on a side note, pictures of the CJ7 Soft toy i acquired is up for grabs! QI ZAI! 長江七號 長江七號

Sorry for the misconception but the small one only cost $6! don't get ripped by shops selling at sky rocket prices, the big one only cost less than $20 and the speakers cost only >$50 in china.
Don't not get rip at such shops!

This was found at the IT Show at Suntect 08.

It's a speaker and CJ7 toy actually speaks!

Very cute but come was a hefty tag of $179
Like what the hell! cute but dear!

You can find this counter at the front of the 6th level.

Near my office i spotted a pokemon car but i didn't had the chance to take a picture of it. Well two days ago my chance came when i was walking back to office from lunch! Enjoy these pics.

This car is very cute to me, being a pokemon fan myself :)

However, i wouldn't paste decals like this on my car.

It's driven by a lady!

This is what i ate at shokudo at City Hall on that day. The meal was quite good and affordable.
Shokudo is a Japanese Bazaar Food Paradise, offering more than 100 selection of good japanese food from Pasta to Japanese Ice Desserts. Prices too are in the mid healthy range of 3.80 to 10+.
Love the omellete! and chickie rice

new Phone Lg Viewty

Posted In: , . By pokeu

I have bought a new Mobile Phone Last week but have been too busy to post it.

My Jealous GF saw me nice phone and wanted one too. Thus without futher a-do she bought a silver colored one. Mine's the black one.

Truth says it all, she has the silver one and she's loving it.

I tried the 5 Mega Pixel camera, its good but does not really comform to a true 5 mp to me as compare to other phone. However, as the phone's both good in design and pricing.

Attached bellow is a picture taken in macro mode. Quite good isn't it. Need to fiddle more with the camera options provided first

Overall LG 990 (Viewty) Benchmark score

Design: 9/10
Interface: 7/10 (Facing lag,simple flaws eg.alarm)
Camera: 7/10 (Lost to the big boys like Nokia, Sony.)

DREW the Mascot

Posted In: , , . By pokeu

This is Drew!
He's a mascot my gf and me designed for the HomeTeam Knowledge management contest.
What a pity he didn't get chosen.
He's so cute! My gf spent many days coloring and drawing him to perfection!
It's so sad (o.o)y the judges couldn't appreciate him

So what do you guys think of DREW?

Will add in more info on DREW soon

Ok more info on him

KnowleDge Recevied Everyone Will

“Drew” who holds the meaning of Wise is what this cute bubbly character’s name is.
I have created a mascot aligned to cuteness as I observed that in major countries like Japan, Taiwan and Korea, they have used the element of cuteness in creating the perfect mascot for certain public sectors like the Police. His character is kind and calm with a high morale value (esprit-de-corps), which is a reflection of his appearance. With this cute and animated mascot for MHA, nothing could go wrong!

On the top of his head lies a speech balloon which symbolizes knowledge sharing through communication, where people will give their opinions and share the experience/knowledge with each other. Quite a fashionable trend as his hairstyle too!

Drew’s huge ears symbolizes that he is a good listener and he would definitely acknowledge the efforts of those who share the knowledge with us. This also represents vigilance and alertness at all times with his sharp hearing ability, certainly an important element for knowledge management.

Drew always encourages service excellence and would “thumbs” up his paws whenever necessary. With his friendly deposition and his approachable nature, it’s no wonder why he can easily enter a person’s comfort zone and interact freely with him/her.

On his left side of his body, there’s a heart badge. He treats everyone with an open and fair heart and is an extremely trustworthy person, unquestionably a person you can lean and depend on whenever needed. It’s also a symbol of strong bonds forged together as a team and the great ability to easily build rapport with others. Legend also says that this heart badge is only passed down from those who had strengthened the bond and build pride within MHA through recognition of staff excellence and promotion of staff well-being.

Beside both sides of Drew’s ears lays an adorable fluffy item, which remarkably is part of his ears. This is courtesy of his origin as he is from the clouds right above the MHQ building. Flying around the clouds with his tremendously big ears, he would gather information from both MHA co-workers and external sources to seek and contribute towards continuous improvement. He came on a mission sent above to replace the legendary glorious SHAREK (who had recently stepped down) to share everything he knows and to attain more knowledge so as to be shared with everyone who yearns to learn.

On his appealing big tummy, there’s a big pocket. This is where Drew keeps the knowledge in different forms, e.g. Items that facilitate the easy sharing of knowledge, books, ECT. It’s an endless black-hole in his pocket, which would signify the concept of continuous improvement as a core responsibility and integral part of their work since learning is an everyday process, there’s always something to learn. It’s also a representation that “sharing is caring”, he’s always selfless to share what he has in his pocket.

Waraku Pasta FTW!

Posted In: , , , . By pokeu

These Few days we have been savouring Japanese Food all alike!
Today we revisted the new concept dining called Shokudo at Raffles City B1. A very similar concept as compared to Marche, though its only strictly Japanese dining. The previous time we feasted on Unagi Bamboo Rice, Salmon Sashimi and Sasuage Tomato Rice! They were great for the price we paid, so today we went back for more! Sorry no pics to show for the food stuffs.

Today we ate Chicken Bamboo Rice at only $3.80, though the serving is really quite small, the rice was great with the bamboo scent seeped nicely into the fluffy sticky rice. Next since at this period of time, we had a strong crush on Pasta + Wafu sauce. We had to indulge in "Sakura Fried Ebi Pasta with wafu sauce". The taste was good but a far cry from Waraku Pasta's Pasta though, cause it was too heavily "Garlic-rised", had a strong garlic after taste for a very long time, unlike Waraku which was very light! Next Up, dessert, whats served was Red Bean Kakikori ! delicous, I felt it was better than Azubu Sabo (Marina Square) and MOF -Ministry of Food (Bugis & Marina Sqaure), the ice was finner and not too sweet. But my Gf felt otherwise, gheez! Overall a nice place to eat

Rating: 4/5

The day before, since my Gf had $20 Sake Sushi Vouchers, we decided to use it on its Salmon Pasta w/ Wafu sauce. IT WAS TERRIBLE, Sake Sushi standard is really bad! The taste was SOUR & OILY! WTF! Worst PASTA i ever eaten.

Rating: 1/5

Can't get enough of Waraku pasta!
Their main restaurant also serves great food!
Here's part of their menu for you guys to salivate!

WARUKa PASTA FTW!

Rating: 4.5/5!

Watched CJ 7 and Kung Fu Dunk During the weekend. Watched CJ 7 on Friday and Kung Fu Dunk on Sat. Overall, both shows are quite enteratining, though some people would indefinately find both films sub-par.

During the wait for tickets on Saturday, the damned Golden Village Ticketing System broke down (me waited quite long for it to finally reach my 'pit stop'!) They said only movies that air before 1pm would be available or I must wait till 3pm+. Of course we took the 1pm show and skipped lunch!

Ratings for the shows

CJ7: 4.5/5 (The adorable CJ7 touched my heart - so sad)

Kung Fu Dunk: 3.5/5 (Entertaining but its sort of a rip off "Shaolin Soccer", etc.

CJ 7 is so freaking cute! My Gf and me adore it to death. Wonder where to get the plush toy. I heard Far East Plaza Level 2, "Secrets" sells it, but at a rip off "Taka" price for $40+, since they are sort of the only sole distributor!
KFC (HK) sells them, why not Singapore?! Singapore is always so slow! damn

Here are some of CJ7 pictures, till I get my hands on the real ones ! :)

KFC (HK) :( Version

Not Forgeting Cute Cinnamoroll Kepwie!

Far East #2-20 Has CJ 7 as pictured here
